Katy has worked with culturally diverse clients and has years of experience working with children and teens experiencing mental health challenges. Additionally, she has experience supporting individuals who are LGBTQ and their loved ones.
She uses a combination of therapy techniques supported by research, including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Solution Focused Therapy and Gottman Couple’s Therapy to help you meet your therapeutic goals.
Katy holds a Master of Science, Human Development and Family Studies, Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University, Fortt Collins, CO and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Minor Sociology from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL.
